Governor Tina Kotek issued the following statement urging patience as the court deliberates:

“I know Oregonians want to know what happens next but right now, we need to be patient. I am proud of the work that we, in partnership with Attorney General Dan Rayfield, have argued in the case against the Trump Administration’s unlawful deployment of the Oregon National Guard. Now, we wait as the judge deliberates. I ask that Oregonians who want to speak out about the recent actions do so peacefully and remain calm.

“I will continue to hold the line on Oregon values every time they are under threat and use my voice to stand up for the prosperity and freedom of every Oregonian. There’s no one I would rather fight with, and for, than the people of this great state. Thank you.”
