Governor Kotek Issues Statement on Violence Against SAIF CEO
Governor calls on public to share information about the incident with authorities

Salem, OR - Today, Governor Tina Kotek released the following statement:

“The acts of violence last week against the State Accident Insurance Fund (SAIF) Chief Executive have no place in our state, and I urge anyone who may have information about this attack or the instigators to provide that information to law enforcement. Any acts or threats of violence will not be tolerated, and those responsible must be held accountable to the letter of the law. SAIF employees and local law enforcement have the full support of my office.”

The case is still under investigation and police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Lake Oswego Police Detectives tip line at (503) 635-0232. Tips can also be submitted anonymously here.
