Salem, OR — Governor Tina Kotek announced today that she will appoint Rami Amaro as District Attorney of Lake County. Ms. Amaro will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Paul J. Charas. Her appointment is effective immediately.

Rami Amaro is an experienced litigator with criminal, civil, and appellate practice coupled with extensive business management experience. Ms. Amaro is active in the community and has served as both a pro tem judge and an administrative law judge.
