Governor Tina Kotek announced today that she will appoint Kathleen J. Rastetter to the Clackamas County Justice Court. Ms. Rastetter will fill the judicial position created by the upcoming retirement of Judge Karen Brisbin. Her appointment is effective January 1, 2026.

Kathleen Rastetter is an experienced civil litigator and public servant for Clackamas County, where she currently is serving as a pro tem judge. Ms. Rastetter has deep ties to the community, serving in both the legal and broader community.
