Governor Kate Brown Orders Flags Lowered to Half-Staff in Honor of U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski
Flags to fly at half-staff from now until midnight Thursday, August 4
Governor Kate Brown today ordered all flags at Oregon public institutions to be flown at half-staff until midnight Thursday, August 4, in honor of U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski from Indiana, who died today.
"Congresswoman Jackie Walorski dedicated her life to public service and to serving her constituents in Congress," said Governor Kate Brown. "Dan and I are keeping her husband, Dean, and her family in our thoughts and in our hearts."
This order is at the direction of the President of the United States, pursuant to 4 USC 7 (m).
