Boat Oregon Instructor Certification

This certification allows the holder to instruct the boating safety course, "Boat Oregon - A Course on Responsible Boating", to boaters in communities throughout Oregon. The "Boat Oregon" course is a high quality, low cost course designed to promote safe boating practices reduce boating accidents, injuries, and violations on Oregon waters.

Commercial Fishing - Boat License

Required of any boat, vessel, or floating craft used in taking food fish or shellfish for commercial purposes, except clams and crayfish. Boat licenses are not required to take fish for bait under a bait fishing license (see Bait Fishing License). This license is not transferable to another boat. The residential status of the vessel owner determines whether the vessel qualifies for a resident or a nonresident boat license.

Marine Event, Regatta or Parade Permit

Sponsors of regattas, boat races, marine parades, tournaments or exhibitions that may cause a water safety hazard must complete a Marine Board applicaton for a permit at least 30 days prior to the event. You may also request a Coast Guard Safety Patrol on site at least 30 days in advance. Please view the forms listed below.
