These positions are hired by the association holding a race meet and then are licensed by the Oregon Racing Commission as Association Employees: marketing, photo, video, security, announcer, association steward, mutuel manager and assistant mutuel manager, track nurse/doctor, administrative personnel, accountants, department head, assistant department head, general manager, assistant general manager, general superintendent and other positions as needed.

Nurse Practitioners (APRN-NP) are advanced practice registered nurses who are licensed by the Board to independently assume responsibility and accountability for the care of clients. The title nurse practitioner and population foci of practice shall not be used unless the individual is licensed by the Board. Nurse Practitioners may apply for authority to dispense medications.
