Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read is encouraging voters to turn in their completed ballot at an official ballot drop box before 8:00 p.m. tonight to make their voices heard in the May statewide election.

The Secretary of State’s Office has created an online tool to help Oregonians easily locate the ballot drop box closest to their home address.

Voters can also submit their ballot by taking it into their local post office for a manual postmark, or dropping it off at their county elections office.

“If you haven’t submitted your ballot yet, you have until 8:00 p.m. tonight to find your nearest ballot drop box and cast your vote,” Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read said. “Elections are foundational to our democracy, and the more eligible Oregonians who participate, the more our government truly reflects the will of the people.”

Unofficial election results will begin to appear after 8:00 p.m. on results.oregonvotes.gov. The website will be updated every 15 minutes. Counties will also post results to their own websites.
