The following is a statement from Oregon Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade about the Oregon Audits Division’s summary report, called “Keeping Oregon Accountable,” released today:

“Today’s report summarizes the results of two of the division’s most significant financial audits, which were released earlier this year. These audits are extremely important, but not well understood. This summary report is a helpful and more accessible way to digest the findings from these audits, which are not only a critical accountability tool for the State, but a requirement for many programs to continue receiving federal funding.”
