Financial relief available for household domestic well owners in portions of Harney County

BURNS, Ore. – The Oregon Water Resources Department is accepting grant applications for the Harney Domestic Well Remediation Fund (HDWF) now through 5 p.m. January 30, 2026.

The HDWF may reimburse qualifying homeowners in the Greater Harney Valley Groundwater Area of Concern for a portion of the cost of repairing or replacing and abandoning a dry or at-risk household water well.
