Oregon Investment Council to Welcome New Member Alline Akintore at its July 19 Meeting
The Oregon Investment Council will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting in Treasury’s Tigard office at 9 a.m. on July 19, 2023. Agenda details and information for participating are below. At the meeting, the Council will welcome new member Alline Akintore, whose appointment by Governor Tina Kotek was confirmed by the Oregon Senate on June 16, 2023.
Ms. Akintore is a Partner at the Oregon Venture Fund, an early-stage venture capital fund that invests in startups and growth companies throughout Oregon and SW Washington. In her role, Ms. Akintore leads the fund’s due diligence and research activities into prospective investments. Prior to joining the Oregon Venture Fund, Ms. Akintore’s professional experiences span the globe, having worked in venture and impact investing in the Bay Area, and with organizations in Rwanda, South Korea, and the United States.
She and her family moved to Oregon from the Bay Area in 2021 when she joined the Oregon Venture Fund. Ms. Akintore has degrees in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma Christian University and the University of Pennsylvania and earned an MBA from Stanford University.

The Council has six members, four of whom are appointed by the governor. State Treasurer Tobias Read and the director of the Public Employees Retirement System serve as ex officio members.
