Be Prepared: Make a Plan to Vote

October 31, 2024 – The Oregon Department of Emergency Management (OEM) always encourages people to be prepared and have a plan, and that includes having a plan to vote! OEM, in coordination with the Secretary of State’s office urges all eligible voters to know how to submit their ballots, check the status of their ballots, and stay informed with credible sources this election season.

Making a plan to vote helps avoid last-minute issues. Confirm your registration status, choose how and when you’ll vote, and set a reminder for key dates. Voter turnout is crucial, and we encourage all eligible Oregonians to have their voices heard.

Ballots have been sent to active, registered voters and now is the time to prepare so your ballot is returned on time. Voters should be aware of key deadlines to ensure their vote is counted.
