Cleaner Air Oregon Advisory Committee to hold public meeting June 20 in Portland
The Cleaner Air Oregon Regulatory Advisory Committee (RAC) will meet on Tuesday, June 20 to continue to provide input on the proposed framework for new health-based air toxics rules.
When: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on June 20. A public comment period is scheduled from 1-1:30 p.m.

Agenda: The RAC will review materials that were originally presented on April 4 in an effort to further develop the proposed framework. This framework lays the groundwork for changes to existing state air quality permitting and enforcement rules. Under this framework, these rules would be based on health standards.
The committee will meet again in July and/or August 2017.
The Cleaner Air Oregon Regulatory Advisory Committee's role is to provide advice to state regulators and health experts on more than twenty policy decisions as the agencies re-write state air toxics regulations to incorporate standards that better protect human health.
