Description
The Certified Lead-Based Paint Renovation (LBPR) contractors license is required for a construction business that works on "Target housing" or "child-occupied facilities".
"Target housing" includes most housing built before 1978.
"Child-occupied facilities" are buildings, or parts of buildings, constructed before 1978 and visited regularly by the same child (or children) under 6 years of age. Examples: Day-care centers, preschools, kindergarten classrooms.

The LBPR license must be renewed annually and have a valid lead paint renovation certification.

Examination Information
A copy of the lead paint renovation training certificate of completion issued by an OHA approved training provider must be submitted with the application.
