Description
Can perform all activities associated with landscape contracting work if associated with a landscape contracting business, but at a limited level for a period of two years. Limitation is the performance of projects of $15,000 or less and the landscape contracting business must carry a $15,000 bond.

Examination Information
Must pass Laws, Rules & Business Practice (Open Book); Plants & Turf (Open Book); Design (Open Book); Grading & Drainage (Open Book); Hardscapes (Open Book); Irrigation (Open Book) and Backflow (Closed Book). A passing score of 75% is required for all sections of the exam.
Continuing Education Requirements
16 hours every two years, 8 hours once licensed for 6 years- If LCP license number ends in an odd number, you need to submit CEH every odd number year. If LCP license number ends in an even number, CEH is due every even number year.

Other Information
Once an individual becomes licensed they cannot work as a landscape construction professional unless they are an owner or an employee of a licensed landscape business.
