Registration is required for door to door sales. This ordinance EXCLUDES "regular commercial travelers employed by wholesale houses and selling goods, wares,merchandise or services to merchants of this city, nor to newspaper vendors or minors selling goods, wares, merchandise or services on behalf of any public or private school or any nonprofit charitable organization that is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States, as it may be amended from time to time."
