Description

A Pioneer or Disabled Veteran Combination Hunting/Fishing License and Elk Tag is required to hunt elk in Oregon. Any person hunting elk must have on their person a valid Elk Tag for the current year.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Prerequisites

Must have current year hunting license and tag prior to hunting deer in Oregon.
For Oregon Residents: Proof of residency may include an Oregon driver license, Oregon non-driver license identification card, or three other pieces of identification, one of which shows your name, current address, and indicates six months residency in Oregon.

Required Documentation

Pioneer License requires signed affidavit of age 65 and 50 years Oregon residency.
Disabled Veteran License requires application and copy of Veteran's letter listing overall percentage of disability 25% or above.
