Description
With this license, a business is legally certified to eliminate lead based paint hazards from residential and commercial buildings.

Renewal Information
The lead based paint abatement license must be renewed annually and have a valid lead paint abatement certification.

Prerequisites and Requirements
Prerequisites
An owner or employee of a CCB licensed business must have taken the required lead based paint abatement supervisor training and received a completion certificate. Any employees working under the supervisor must hold a lead based paint worker certification.
Abatement certifications are valid for 3 years. Refresher courses are required for certification renewal.

A copy of the lead paint abatement training certificate of completion issued by an OHA approved training provider must be submitted with the application.
