Description

An Executive manager has the authority to act on behalf of the company or business in matters of licensure and certification. A Supervisory Manager, has a primary responsibility of the management of certified private security providers. Both the executive and Supervisory Managers have the authority to issue temporary work permits. The Executive Manager shall have ultimate responsibility for compliance with the applicable provisions of ORS Chapter 181A.

Required Documentation

Application packets for certification or licensure must be completed in its entirety and must include:
A compl​eted Form PS-1;
Fingerprints - visit the webpage for more information https://www.oregon.gov/dpsst/PS/Pages/Fingerprint_Requirements.aspx
A completed Form PS-6 showing successful completion of the 14-hour unarmed course (Private Security Executive Managers) or 12-hour basic Alarm Monitor course (Alarm Monitor Executive Managers);
If currently employed, an original, completed Form PS-20;
A completed PS-24 Executive Manager Information Form; and
Nonrefundable certification or licensure fees.
​Once your application packet has been processed by DPSST you will need to attend a manager's course and pass the assessment and exam.​

Continuing Education Requirements

Manager renewal training, offered through Workday. Not to be taken more then 180 days prior to expiration.
