Description

This license allows a person to repair, maintain, or service mobile homes or RVs and their attached equipment other than the service supplying power.

Duration

License renewal is every three years on October 1.

Renewal Information

A renewal notice will be mailed to the licensee approximately six weeks prior to the expiration of their license. Continuing Education (if necessary) and fees will be explained on the renewal form. Renewal fees vary by license type.

Duplicate License Requirements

If you lost your license or have changed your address and would like a replacement license, submit form 2523 from Building Codes website, along with appropriate $10 fee.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Prerequisites

(1) Two years of experience, consisting of at least 4,000 hours, in repair and maintenance of electrical problems in manufactured structures while employed by a manufactured structures manufacturer.
OR
(2) Two years of employment as a limited-maintenance manufactured-structures trainee working with a licensee or for an employer of a licensee.
OR
(3) A combination of (1) and (2) above equaling two years of experience.

Copy of apprenticeship completion (if required by license type)
Experience qualification documents (if required by license type)

Examination Information

2 hour 28 question open book. Upon approval, a list will be provided outlining approved exam material.

Continuing Education Requirements

Exempt from continuing education requirements.​
