Description
This license is for contractors that inspect structures for lead based paint and prepare reports on their findings. If the contractor employs a risk assessor, they may also provide more detail about the hazards and how to eliminate them.

1 year license
Renewal Information
The lead paint inspection license must be renewed annually and have a valid lead paint inspector or risk assessor certification.

Prerequisites
An owner or employee of a CCB licensed business must have taken the required lead based paint inspector or risk assessor training and received a completion certificate.
Lead paint inspector and risk assessor certifications are valid for 3 years. Refresher courses are required for certification renewal.

Examination Information
A copy of the lead paint inspector or risk assessor training certificate of completion issued by an OHA approved training provider must be submitted with the application.
