Description
A trainer's license is required of persons employed by a racing animal owner or stable to condition and care for animals racing in Oregon.

Renewal Information
Renewals are processed in the same manner as the initial application. For additional information, please contact the Commission Licensing Office at (971) 352-0455.
Duplicate License Requirements
If a license is lost or destroyed, a replacement fee of $10 may be required for a duplicate license. Duplicate license expiration date is the same as the original license.

Must either be licensed as a trainer in another state or have completed one year as an assistant trainer
Examination Information
New trainers must pass a written exam administered by the stewards and a practical exam from the veterinarians
