Prerequisites

(1) An equivalent or higher license from the reciprocal state that is current and active with no violations or conditions attached within the past three years;
AND
(2) Qualified for the licensing exam in the reciprocal state through required work experience;
AND
(3) Passed the licensing exam in the reciprocal state with a score of 75 percent or better;
AND
(4) Worked a minimum of six months (1,000 hours) under the license from the reciprocal state;
AND
(5) Not failed the Oregon licensing examination for the license type you are reciprocating within the past two years.

Required Documentation

Completed application with applicable fee
A copy of your Active General Supervisor/master license from the reciprocal state.
Documents to show your license is current, active, and in good standing with no violation history. Please include any history of violations, or a statement indicating you have no violation history.
A letter from your reciprocal state incorporating all of this information will be accepted.
-Verification you have passed the General Supervisor/ Master Electricians license exam in the reciprocal state with a score of 75% or higher.
-Verification you have worked a minimum of six months (1000 hours) under the General Supervisor/ Master Electricians license in the reciprocal state.
A 2" X 2" passport style photo of yourself. A regular sized picture works as long as there is a solid background.
