Description
In Oregon, Dental Assistants are not licensed but must be certified in order to take x-rays or to perform certain Expanded Functions. There are four (7) types of Dental Assistant certification offered: Radiologic Proficiency Certificate, Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA), Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) with Restorative Functions, Expanded Function Orthodontic Dental Assistant (EFODA), Expanded Function Preventative Dental Assistant (EFPDA), Anesthesia Dental Assistant, Anesthesia Dental Assistant with IV Therapy
