Description
The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Asbestos Program regulates asbestos abatement activities. Accreditations are given to trainers who can document that courses they provide satisfy a minimum level of understanding of how to properly remove asbestos-containing material. There are four courses that DEQ accredits: Initial Worker, Worker Refresher, Initial Supervisor, and Supervisor Refresher.
