Description

Construction Labor Contractors recruit, solicit, supply, or employ workers to perform labor for another to work in construction.

Renewal Information

The Construction Labor Contractor License is valid for 12 months.

Applications for renewal must be submitted at least one month prior to expiration of existing license, and require the following documentation:
1. Completed License Application Packet;
2. A copy of the signed Required Notice to Workers and the Right of Workers forms for one employee; and
3. The Agreements between Labor Contractor and Owner/Lessee of Land form.

Multi-year renewal terms (2 or 4 years) are available after being licensed for two consecutive years.

Bonding Requirements

Provide a Construction Labor Contractor Corporate Surety Bond in the amount of:
$10,000 if no more than 20 employees; or
$30,000 if 21 or more employees.

Insurance Requirements

Vehicle insurance, if transporting workers.

Other Information

Employee Indorsement Licenses are required for employees acting as a contractor, if different than a licensed sole proprietor, partner, shareholder, or LLC manager or member.
