Description
Standard phase of an individual license. Allows a person to prepare to plant and install lawns, shrubs, trees and other nursery stock. Also to install decks, fences, walkways, driveways, patios, landscape edging, arbors, water features and retaining walls. NO IRRIGATION

Prerequisites and Requirements
Examination Information
Must pass Laws, Rules & Business Practice; Plants & Turf; Design; Grading & Drainage and Hardscapes. A passing score of 75% is required for all sections of the exam.
Continuing Education Requirements
16 hours every two years, reduced to 8 hours once licensed for 6 years.

Other Information
A person cannot operate as a landscape construction professional unless they are the owner or an employee of a licensed landscape business.
