Description

A licensed Oregon chiropractic physician may apply for additional certification to perform minor surgery and / or proctology in their chiropractic practice.

Duration

Renewal every three years

Renewal Information

12 hours of continuing education (seminar, course or instruction) related to minor surgery/proctology every three years. Optionally, in lieu of eight hours of the continuing education requirement, a chiropractic physician may document performance or observation of twelve minor surgery/proctology procedures every three years.

2-6 Months Certification approval is given by board which meets every other month.

Continuing Education Requirements

12 hours required every three years. The 12 hours may be part of the standard annual 20 hour requirement (not necessarily in addition to). Some procedures may account for a portion of the CE hours.
