Description
Certification allows a general display operator to hold outdoor fireworks displays using general 1.3g fireworks. These displays may also include limited 1.4g fireworks and special effects fireworks.
Duration
Valid 3 years from date of issue.
Renewal Information
Renewal notices are sent out prior to expiration date of original certification to ensure a safety course may be taken prior to expiration.
Duplicate License Requirements
To request a duplicate, you must request it in writing (email, mail or fax) and include the signature of the person who originally applied for the certificate.

Continuing Education Requirements
General Display Operators must attend an approved training course and complete three general fireworks displays during the three years their certificate is valid.

No state requirements.
Insurance Requirements
No state requirements.
Other Information
If certification lapses before renewal is submitted, individual must take & pass the general public display operator exam. The initial certification application must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the first display if they intend to be an operator.
