Renewal Information

Temporary Permits are not renewable.

Military Spouse Temporary Permit: Spouses of Active-Duty military members who are currently stationed in Oregon may be eligible for a temporary permit if they are licensed in another state or jurisdiction that has licensing requirements that are substantially similar to Oregon. The permit is valid for two years after the date of issuance OR the date the spouse or domestic partner of the permit holder completes their term of service in this state OR the date the permit holder’s license issued by another state or jurisdiction expires, is revoked, suspended, or otherwise no longer valid, whichever comes first.

Duplicate License Requirements

Exam Temporary Permits MUST submit an application for licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.
