Description
A "Certified Oregon Pharmacy technician" is a person licensed by the State Board of Pharmacy who assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy pursuant to rules of the board.

Continuing Education Requirements
During each period from July 1 through June 30 of each renewal cycle, all Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technicians must complete and report at least two hours of pharmacy law, two hours of patient safety or error prevention and sixteen other hours of continuing pharmacy education or documented onsite training approved by the Board. Fifty minutes equal one contact hour.
