Description

BCD offers several combination contractor/business licenses that combine 2 or 3 of the single contractor licenses.
-Plumbing and boiler business (BP)
-Plumbing and boiler business and restricted energy contractor (PBR)
-Plumbing and ltd. maintenance specialty contractor (PM)
-Plumbing and ltd. pump installation contractor (PP)
-Elevator electrical and elevator mechanical contractor (EM)
-Plumbing and boiler business and ltd. Maintenance specialty contractor HVAC/R (PBH)
-Boiler business and ltd. maintenance specialty contractor (BH)
-Plumbing and boiler business and electrical contractor (PBE)
-Boiler business and electrical contractor (BE)

Duration

License renewal is every three years on July 1.

Renewal Information

A renewal notice will be mailed to the licensee approximately six weeks prior to the expiration of their license. Fees will be explained on the renewal form. Renewal fees vary by license type.

1-3 Days Incomplete applications may cause delays.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Prerequisites

The same as for the component single licenses.
Register the business name with the Secretary of State.
Hold an active Construction Contractor Board (CCB) license.
Employ an appropriate full time signing supervisor for the license chosen.

Required Documentation

The same as for the component single licenses.
(1) Completed application with applicable fee
(2)The license number(s) and business name, of any licenses held with the State of Oregon Building Codes Division.
(3) The license number and signature of your signing supervisor.
(4) Your CCB number.

Examination Information

No exam

Continuing Education Requirements

Exempt from continuing education requirements.
